Chemical peel in Paris. Dr ABBOU and Dr PESSIS
A peel is a very common aesthetic medicine treatment that improves the quality of the skin on the face and body by removing damaged cells through exfoliation and by stimulating cell regeneration.
The peeling sessions take place at the doctor’s office and allow for the treatment of wrinkles, acne scars, pigment spots and dilated pores.
Our medical peel protocol consists of three sessions of face or body care in general. Social eviction is almost non-existent and you can resume your activities the next day.
The peel can be performed in addition to other aesthetic medical treatments: hyaluronic acid injections, botox injections, etc.
This medical information sheet was written in June 2021 by Dr. ABBOU and Dr. PESSIS who are two cosmetic surgeons in Paris.

As aesthetic physicians and plastic surgeons, it is important that we truly understand what a patient is hoping for and are able to inform them of all the options available.
Peels are a popular treatment and when used correctly, the results can be very pleasing.
It is essential to understand the different ingredients, their effect on the skin during and after treatment and how they should be used.
Patients should have a thorough medical consultation and skin analysis prior to treatment where all of this information is discussed, so they can plan the treatment around their schedule and have realistic expectations of what can be achieved.
Light, superficial treatments peel the skin. They perform an exfoliation, which has an action on the complexion by producing a refreshing and regulating effect. It is an exfoliation that more or less erases certain superficial imperfections of the epidermis.
Medical peels can be applied without restriction of zone. They have a moderate action on the components of skin aging such as fine lines.
We only use medium or deep peels that treat signs of skin aging, spots and acne scars.
We have established a protocol of three to four sessions spaced 3 weeks to a month apart in order to obtain the best results. Peels can be combined with hyaluronic acid injections or mesotherapy sessions.
