What is a buttock lift ?
A buttock lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the buttocks and lift sagging buttock skin. A buttock lift alone will not add volume to the buttocks.
Sometimes this procedure can be combined with an augmentation procedure to change the shape or volume of the buttocks with implants or lipofilling.
During a buttock lift, excess skin and fat are removed from the buttocks. The remaining skin is then repositioned to create a more youthful and toned appearance.

In the operating room under general anesthesia:

You are usually discharged the day after the operation. It is necessary to allow for a two-week recovery period before resuming your activities.

How to sit after the buttock lift?
We recommend that you do not sit for two weeks after your surgery. This is the minimum time recommended for :
- Avoid excess tension on the scar
- Prevent possible complications
- Optimize the quality of the scar
You may be advised to use a cushion or a pregnancy balloon after the procedure.
What are the differences between butt lift and brazilian buttlift?
The buttock lift consists of lifting the buttocks by removing excess skin and improving the shape and contour of the buttocks with an essential posterior scar.
The brazilian buttlift or buttock lipofilling consists in increasing the volume of the buttocks by fat injections. The fat is taken from other areas of the body (hips, stomach, thighs). There is no posterior scar for the brazilian buttlift. This procedure is not indicated in cases of significant skin excess.
Is it necessary to wear a support garment after the buttock lift?
We recommend that you wear it for about 4 weeks after surgery. This will help reduce the swelling and inflammation caused by the surgery. The compression also helps your lymphatic system to eliminate the swelling more quickly.
